On March 24, Canada’s Ocean Supercluster announced three new projects with a total value of almost $10 million from its Accelerated Ocean Solutions Program (AOSP) including the Fishless Marine Microbial Fish Oil Project. This Nova Scotia-led project will work to develop an algal nutritional oil that fully mimics and complements the health benefits of fish oil consumption.

This past December, we decided to devote our team building day to the service of others and our community. Winters in Saskatchewan are very harsh, and local shelters struggle to keep up with the demand for basic necessities. In an effort to ease the burden we decided to launch Socks & Sammies Day — a single day devoted to teamwork and giving back at the local level while having fun. In total, we donated 200 pairs of warm socks and 200 homemade sandwiches to The Lighthouse Supported Living.
